The MANTAC conference has been around for many years as a not-for-profit event that provides therapists and trainee therapists with good quality, affordable CPD in Manchester. Known originally as the North West Transactional Analysis Gathering or NWTAG for short, we changed the name in 2016 to reflect the growing numbers the conference has been attracting. We would like the conference to continue for a long time to come, the committee baton being passed on from therapist to therapist to keep this lively, welcoming and enjoyable event alive and thriving.
The MANTAC Committee is made up of a number of volunteers who are paid only in tea, coffee and free entry into the event in exchange for their time, energy, enthusiasm and hard work. If you'd like to join us, please send us an email.

Hi, I'm Hannah Legge. I have been in private practice since 2003. I attained my CTA in 2008. I'm also a qualified Hypnotherapist, and a qualified Person Centred Counsellor, Supervisor and Trainer. I was a Supervisor for a local charity for a number of years and taught Person Centred Counselling at City College, Manchester. I've been on the MANTAC Committee since 2012, first as the Workshop Co-ordinator and now as Chair. My aim is to put on a good quality conference that is warm and inviting. If you want to email me directly for any reason, my email address is [email protected]
Hi, I'm Natalie. I have a Diploma in Transactional Analysis and graduated in 2012. I have a small private practice and see individuals and couples. I am passionate about all things psychotherapy, self development and learning! This, along with my experience in events and marketing, lead me to become part of the MANTAC team, which I thoroughly enjoy!
Hi, I am Stephen Murphy and have been involved with TA practice for over 13 years and am currently working towards my CTA. I have been in private practice for the last five years. Previously I was an Art & Design Lecturer for 28 years and tutored and mentored up to 30 students a year and my initial training was to help them, TA provided me with the right tools to work with the more complex issues they presented. My website is: www.edenpac.uk and I work from Urmston and on Deansgate Manchester City Centre. I joined the committee recently as a way of giving back to the TA community who all give their time and energy free and for the cause, to get the message of TA out there and make sure trainees are aware of this great opportunity that this conference provides.
Hello, I am Frank Kelley. For many years I was a psychodynamic counsellor in the NHS and am now retired. I am new to this committee and to Transactional Analysis and am looking forward to being part of this new world.
